We are having very busy summertime! In July LMES has grown to seven members by hosting our international colleagues and students. Dr. Fatma Yalcinkaya, a group lead in Technical University of Liberec has joined us to work towards novel membranes for MFCs, while two graduate students will get their hands on MFC science: Omar Ahmed from Ondokuz Mayıs University (Samsun, TR) and Antonio Santoro (University of Ferrara, IT).
The real introduction took place in our Campus Beach Bar, where we also hosted our department-colleague.
The visits are being part of our UE’s COST Action PHOENIX, and Erasmus+ programme.
