We are happy to announce that our PhD student Natalia Tyszkiewicz has been awarded in InterDocSchool project for funding for a research visit in our collaborating institution. As part of the project, Natalia will be doing a one-month internship at the University of Tartu (Estonia). The aim of the project will be advanced metagenomic analysis of microbial communities obtained from bioelectrochemical systems. The research will be carried out in Professor Jaak Truu’s group at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology.

The main objective of the InterDocSchool project is to support internationalisation of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) Doctoral School. The InterDocSchool project is co-financed by Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA within the STER Programme “Internationalisation of doctoral schools”.Congratulations Natalia and the best of luck with your ongoing research!
