Dr inż. Grzegorz Pasternak became the laureate of Secundus programme which aims to distinguish the top 12 young scientists of Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. We highly support this new motivation strategy of our university !
We’re happy to announce, that LMES is a part of successful COST action proposal “Protection, Resilience, Rehabilitation of damaged environment”. Dr Grzegorz Pasternak will act as an MC member and Ms. Karolina Kordek from Prof. Piotr Rutkowski’s group will be an MC substitute member.
The action spans several researchers from the field of bioelectrochemical systems. It consists of 9 EU countries, as well as collaborating groups from outside of the EU.
New year came across with lots of microbial power. In January we have just started a collaborative agreement with Okinawa Institute of Research and Technology in Japan and its group of Biology Systems (Prof. Igor Goryanin).
Since today we are hosting Mr. Lhadi Otmani – a researcher from University Ferhat Abbas in Algeria.
This month, we will be present at XV Polish Membrane Society Summer School. Greg will give a lecture for the School participatns and Natalia will show her first results on ceramic membranes for microbial fuel cells technology. Click here to learn more about the event and programme.
Natalia has just been awarded for her very first poster presentation at XV Polish Membrane Society Summer School 2019. Cungratulations and a big thanks for the event organisers!
Last Friday, we were hosting Dr. Łukasz Szydłowski, who gave a talk about his research in Okinawa Institute of Research and Technology (Japan). In this short stay we were also able to introduce Łukasz to some best Landmarks in Wrocław.
